Before creating logic steps, we have to follow these steps:
- To store the data, create a dataset. You must select “All datasets” from the list on the left. Click the “Add datasets” button in the top right corner to start a new dataset.
- Complete all the necessary fields, then click the “Next” button.
The new page for “Edit dataset” will appear once you click the next button. You must fill up all the information under the “Add field” on the right side of the modify dataset page. Note: When completing the name column, lowercase letters must be used without a space. Once you have completed the form, click the “Submit” button.
Thus, this is the procedure you must take before developing the logic. Let’s now look at a few simple steps for creating new logic on Flashcorp:
Click the “My Apps” icon on the left.
Click on the “Edit” button.
Click “App Logics” after you’ve scrolled down. On the right side of this page, you must click the “Add logic” button.
You must enter the “Logic name” and “Description” and click the save and next buttons.
To create a variable to store the input/output of your operations, click “Add logic variable” and select the type of variable you want, like string, integer, JSON, etc.
Go to the “Node Menu” section and click on the “Flow Controls” section on the drop-down list. You will see the “Start Logic”. You just want to drag and drop that start logic to the “Plain Graph” section. Note: “You can’t run the logic without adding the start logic node. You can drag and drop the node and begin the logic according to your needs”.
Once the logic is finished, you must click the “Test” button in the left upper corner to see if the logic is functioning properly or not. If the logic is correct, a message indicating that the “execution was successful” will appear.
